THE MOUNTAIN

Crested Butte Mountain is an awe-inspiring 12,160 feet above sea level. At the ski
area’s base, the elevation is at 9,300 feet. Crested Butte boasts 15 lifts serving the
1,547 acres of skiable terrain. Offering 165 different runs. It has something for everyone.
14% beginner (Green Runs), 24% Intermediate (Blue Runs) and 25% Advanced, 37%
Expert runs. The longest run of 2.6 miles is Peak to Treasury. The average snowfall
per year is an impressive 236 inches with snowmaking over 282 acres. Wanting to try a
little extreme skiing? Crested Butte has attracted the US Extreme Skiing
Championships and the X Games due to having a large amount of extreme skiing
terrain. Located off the beaten path, Crested Butte is known for some of the best lift-
served extreme terrain and mountain biking in the nation.

THE LODGING

We will reside at The Plaza Condominiums, located just 100 yards away from the main
lift. These condos consist of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each condo has a kitchen
and living room. Washers and dryers are in every condo. The complex also has 2 hot
tubs to soak away those sore muscles.

THE TOWN / VILLAGES

The heart of downtown Crested Butte is Elk Avenue. It’s a bustling stretch of road
accessible by the free Mountaineer Shuttle from the ski area. Within these charming
wood-fronted old mining buildings are dozens of quaint restaurants, bars, and shops.
The colorful facades match the rich history of Crested Butte.
