We will also be moving up our Trip registration date.

WHO ARE THE AUSTIN SKIERS 

About Us

Austin Skiers is a non-profit, all volunteer social club for people who love winter sports, travel & social activities We arrange 10 to 12 group trips each year and are able to get group discounts that are not available to individuals or families.

Club History

The club was formed in1970 and over the years we have accumulated a wealth of knowledge, expertise and ski industry contacts enabling us to find really good values. Our friendly members also enjoy many social activities here in Austin throughout the year, and really like having new people participate.   You are welcome to come to meetings and other Austin Skiers events as a guest to check us out. Come have fun with us.

MEMBERSHIP

We have Members living in 16 states from every region of the country and from several countries around the world.  Membership is currently over 400 members and growing.  Come grow with us. 
The Membership Year runs from June 1 thru May 31. The fee is not prorated but is only $45 Individual or $80 Family (includes spouse or domestic partner) for the year.  The membership fee increases September 1, 2025 to $55 Individual or $90 Family.  All membership levels are allowed to bring their children to child approved club events.  Children are defined as youths 19 years or younger or 24 years or younger if they are a student.  Click here to Join, existing members can renew your membership by clicking here Renew

Roommate Requirement for Single Travelers who wish to share a room:


Single travelers registering for Double Occupancy on a trip should do their best to identify a roommate for themselves. The Trip Chair will make their best effort to aid in this process. The club has many single travelers so typically it works easily to be matched with a roommate. However, if a roommate is not identified or assigned prior to the trips' second payment due date, the registered participant has the option to pay the upgrade for a Single Supplement to have a private room, or may cancel their trip. In this circumstance, the $50 Club cancellation fee will be waived.

Additional Ski Trips offered by other Texas Ski Clubs

As a member of the Austin Ski Club, we can register for ski trips offered by other Texas Ski Clubs that have openings.  This is called "Reciprocity" as those other club members can register for our trips as well.
